Nelson Lakes National Park has several stunning alpine tramping (hiking) adventures to choose from. The ‘Waiau Pass’ is a rewarding alpine crossing that lays deep within the park. It requires a lot of time, commitment and skill to complete. No matter where you start, access to the base of Waiau Pass is no easy feat. In this video we will show you how to best prepare and navigate through the pass, so you can plan for your next adventure in this region and make it home safe.
