On October 13, 2024, Tamashima hosts Wai Wai Cup, pitting Super Street Fighter II X communities from all over Japan, throughout the world, and online together to claim the spot of best region.

Towards the end of October, Riz0ne restreams the second annual Wai Wai Cup (excluding the 3rd Anniversary Wai Wai Cup) where teams composted of four players of their respective regions are broken into four individual single elimination brackets. The top 4 advanced into finals to claim the prize of top region.
