Station IDs and interstitials from the final iteration of WACY-TV (UPN 32 Green Bay)'s Prime Time Invasion block of sci-fi/fantasy/action shows. With UPN now claiming five nights of prime time each week, and programming them schizophrenically (Tuesday night: urban comedy, Wednesday night: action shows, Thursday night: wrestling, Friday night: family/female-skewing drama...), the Invasion was on life support in early 1999. The concept was finally abandoned during the summer, but it had done its job - it gave the station an identity (and a loyal audience), and even got me an offer to move to L.A. and work for the network's promotions department. How different would my life have been if I had taken them up on it?
