My Volkswagen ID.7 “Hank” finally received its first major software update — from 4.0 to 5.63 — after two years! In this video, I show you everything that’s new, how the update works at the dealer, how long it takes, and which features are finally unlocked.
This update brings new apps, remote locking, remote parking, improved Travel Assist, updated AR HUD visuals, and much more. I also go through all my settings to check what stayed, what changed, and how the car behaved after the update.
