The APS_SDK_Helicopter example project can be downloaded from here:
mediafire.com/file/le193dy2ancc14x/MocapHelicopters.unitypackage
This tutorial shows a new "SandboxEmpty" component.
The "SandboxEmpty" component found in the APS_SDK can be attached to gameobjects when building custom props. This adds additional motion capture to the prop export data when exported from Luxor and allows recording moving parts on the prop (eg. sliding doors, ammo clips, landing gear, rotating wheels and suspension) and exporting the added mocap data to Blender as animated empties which are aligned with the original mocap prop so the animated empties can then be used to animated a more detail model for final rendering and is shown in the tutorial :)
The EEVEE animation and mocap were created before I this tutorial so I didn't have a chance to show the flight simulator controls or recording full body mocap. Hoping to make more tutorials soon!
New updates in Luxor v5.7.4:
- New APS_SDK Sandbox component: **SandboxEmpty.cs**
- New APS_SDK Sandbox component: **SandboxAnimatorSetBool.cs**
- New APS_SDK Sandbox component: **SandboxRecordable.cs**
- New APS_SDK Sandbox component: **SandboxRecordableButton.cs**
- Added new Blackhawk vehicle prop (with sandbox examples)
- Improved VTOL simulation, full physics based, added ground effect, high precision wheel colliders,
Hope you liked the tutorials !

![Motion Capture Speed Boats
I watched tomorrow never dies, quantum of solace, and some of the other classic Bond movies. Seeing all the expensive Yachts and exciting chase scenes inspired me to add a new Yacht Simulator feature to my game so artists can record motion capture of dramatic action chase scenes on power boats and export the scene to Blender for rendering. And even record aircraft and weapons for extra drama !!
This is a yacht simulator/trainer game I just developed entirely for fun but I tried to create the simulation to look as real as I could in only a few days - the game is still in development and I hope to add even more models and new ocean worlds soon. I added this as a feature to the VR game I developed on Steam. Youre welcome to download the Playtest or demo and take the new cruiser out for a spin!

![Avatar Mocap + Ragdoll Physics
The new ragdoll physics in combination with motion capture in VR makes it possible to create interactive motion capture animations. Users can pick up other avatars, throw avatars around, move them around the scene, punch, hold hands, or even pick up avatars by their feet! And can be recorded as mocap and exported right to Blender.
This feature is basically a advanced ragdoll blending controller that provides polynomial weights (sliders) so the user can configuring the blending of the ragdoll with existing motion capture when the avatar is grabbed or picked up. Each of the five ragdoll groups (Head, Spine, Hip, Arms and Legs) contain weight sliders that allow the user to specify the blending amount for specific groups in the ragdoll. Many profiles can be created and allows users to create new animations where avatars can be puppeted in VR and react to physics! This feature also works with the existing weapon system.
This feature works even when player is scaled way up. Scaling up makes the ragdoll avatar appear as miniature avatar to the VR player. And is very useful when hand puppeting a avatars while editing a recording - possibly create cartoon animations, gymnastic, dances, epic battles and many other kinds of interactive animations - and is all exportable to Blender.
