swamped is an eight track album of remastered old remixes i made under the name ‘electricmudkip'. there’s mostly pokémon tracks but other games are featured too. had fun revisiting these old songs and i hope u guys like what i did with them :)
so i’m gonna upload a track from this every few days until i run out (there’s eight in total), was gonna do one a week but like yo that’d take two months lmao. i’ll probably release new remixes in between uploads of this too, to spice things up
this is the seventh track, of the bittercold final boss theme from mystery dungeon gates to infinity. i made this one forever ago with the amazing laura platt but because it was so long ago and i handled the mixing, i always thought it could sound better???so here it is again!! wow. rly glad i went back to it tbh. laura's piano phrases are super interesting and while i'm still not the best at handling those i'd say i've at least improved since back then lol. this is largely the exact same arrangement too, it's really just the clarity i worked on here only.
