This song is a part of "Rate Our Music 13: Fortuna Reducere", a various artists album showcasing music submitted by members of the Rate Your Music forums. Of the three titles I was given, I picked "Ice Sculpting" because that gave me a nice idea. I wanted to make a song that reflected that title. So I decided to make a nice, little, innocent and cheerful tune, because what's more fun than ice sculpting?! I gave this song a lot of winter-y sounding percussion, and the high register of a piano, because those were basically the first two things that came to mind.
Another thing to note is that I did some sampling. This song predominantly samples the percussion stem from "Carefree" by Kevin MacLeod.
