Developed by students in the winter 2022 AR/VR Capstone Class, at UW CSE.

VR Dicom Visualizer is a VR project that aims to ease the communication between a patient and a doctor. It visualizes 3D medical images in VR to make it easier for a doctor to communicate to the patient about their health. "Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine" (DICOM) is a standard for managing medical imaging information.

The AR/VR Capstone Class, at UW CSE (University of Washington's Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering) is an intensive 10-week class introducing students to AR/VR, Unity, and to developing software apps as a team for VR (Oculus Quest 2). Students also heard talks on different aspects of AR/VR from faculty and guest speakers (tinyurl.com/RealityLabLectures).
