Avalon: The Riven Veil ~ the very Blood-Rage-esque follow-up to Oathsworn ThinkerThemer 2024-11-12 | Yes I backed Oathsworn, and yes I went all in. There are several boxes of undiscovered treasures that take up exactly two moving boxes full of space in our home that simply say "Oathsworn" on them. It was the first kickstarter as well, long before the game became the hottest dungeon crawler and the talk of the industry. We think I Cut You Choose is not for us 😞 | A Review of Stamp Swap ThinkerThemer 2024-08-23 | We've been thinking about this review for a long time now as Stonemaier always provide a long lead time to reviewers to ensure the game can be played many times. And play we did! We had high expectations (great theme, great designer) but for some reason it fell a little flat for us and for our gaming groups. It gave us the opportunity to reflect on the core mechanic and why we sometimes were left feeling less-than-satisfied throughout the course of the game where others may not. In this shedding game you are racing other 'finders' to play thing cards into a venn diagram. The trick is that you have no idea what the rules of the circles are.
