In this video, we demonstrate a voxel sculpting workflow for creating a mechanical suspension component for a sci-fi Mars rover in 3DCoat.
The part is created from scratch using voxel-based sculpting techniques, combining several 3DCoat sculpting tools to quickly shape, cut, reposition, hide, and refine the model. The workflow demonstrates how voxel sculpting can be used for creating detailed mechanical and hard-surface forms without relying on traditional polygon modeling.
