Voter ID Rolled Out In Gosport @ThatsSolentTV

Staying with the local elections and voter ID was trialled for the first time ever in Gosport.

People wanting to vote had to bring a valid ID with them if they wished to cast one.

Figures suggest turnout was at 33 percent - just a one percent increase from 2016.

And the leader of Gosport Borough Council sees voter ID as the future.
