Lets have some fun and build a little arrangement of saltwater cells put together :D


It stems from the ideas of the voltaic pile ( Alessandro Giuseppe Antonio Anastasio Volta )

Materials needed if you want to try ( I'm sure you can substitute some item with others if you want to get creative ) -

1. 20x small cups ( or any small vessel has to just hold saltwater )
2. 20x Zinc plated washers (any hardware store really )
3. 21x copper wire lengths ( better if solid core wire its just easier to wrap around stuff I used "doorbell wire" from a hardware store )
4. Table salt ( or any salt )
5. Water
6. Voltmeter ( To read the dc volts )
7. Wire stripper ( or any tool to strip wires )
( you don't have to glue the cups down it will just save you some spills I'm sure :D }
8. Glue ( any glue hot glue juts dried fast )
9. Board to glue cups to ( any material juts to secure cups down )
