Card # 7 Magnavox Odyssey
number of players 2 / Versus
Designer: Ralph Baer.
Volleyball, Sports
Extract from the old-computers.com
This is the first volleyball videogame ever.
Volleyball was delivered with a brand new cartridge, which was not common for Odyssey games (they generally used the ones delivered with the system). This one enables to display half a line in the middle of screen to simulate a volleyball net. The ball disappears when it hits the net.
Otherwise, the game is pretty the same as the Tennis game.
