Both Volatile Dead and Spellslinger will be buffed in 3.27. Run was done in 3.26.
Volatile Dead: Orb Explosions now deal 25% more Damage at all gem levels. Now has 210% Effectiveness of Added Damage (previously 170%).
Spellslinger Support: Supported Skills now deal 30-20% less Damage with Hits and Ailments at gem levels 1-20 (previously 37-31%).

*Gear Progression*
You want to check the vendor for Crossbows with Increased Physical Damage and/or Adds to Physical/Fire Damage. Salvage weapons with quality to get Blacksmith Whetstones. Runes can give 20% increased Physical Damage. At the Orok Campfire (Act 3) you can get a Lesser Jewelers Orb. I would use it on Explosive or Gas Grenade. If you clear with Gas Grenade you will need Flame Wall to ignite the gas clouds.
At level 33 you get the *Bombard Crossbow* . With it you will fire an additional Grenade. I would use most of currency (Artificers Orb, Blacksmith Whethstone, Regal Orb, Runes and Exalted Orb) on a Bombard Crossbow that has a good Increased Physical Damage and/or Adds to Physical Damage affix. This weapon should carry you till the next tier of the Bombard Crossbow (Level 59).

*Resistances*
For Act 1 you want Cold Resistance. In Act 2 you want Lightning Resistance for the final Act 2 Boss. If you do the Elemental Offering (Act 2, Buried Shrines) you can choose a Topaz/Ruby/Sapphire Ring. Vendors can also sell Resistance Rings. If you do not have enough Resistance Rings I would consider gambling for one at the Vendor (Risu at Act 2, Alva at Act 3) if you have sufficient Gold. The Act 3 Boss will cause all 3 Elemental Damage types. You can socket Glacial/Desert/Storm to get 12% Cold/Fire/Lightning Resistance.

3.26 Damage NERF
The Shaper of Flames Ascendancy Passive Skill no longer has 25% more Damage with Ignites you inflict with Hits for which the highest Damage Type is Fire. Instead, it now causes Enemies Ignited by you to convert 40% of their Physical Damage to Fire.
Fire Trap: Now deals 27.7-2566 Base Fire Damage per second at gem levels 1-20 (previously 32.5-3018.8).

I recommend going for armour bases in maps as Physical Damage was shredding me in early maps which is why I pivoted away from my original plan to not go Determination. A %increased chance to block shield will help a lot too. There are two tiers that you can craft. Their recipes are found in maps. This patch it was Atoll and Haunted Mansion in the next one its going to be in different maps.
You can do Jun Missions to get the Fire Damage over Time Multiplier unveil (in 3.26 this recipe will be available in maps). You can also do the +1 Fire Spell Skill recipe by selling a sceptre/wand/runic dagger and 2 or more gems with the Fire tag totaling 40% gem quality. The +1 sceptre should show in the vendor window if you got the right items. As a suffix you can then craft Fire DoT multi.
