I was reached out to about trying a newer private demo for Voidwrought that looks to be closer to what the game will be when it releases on the 24th so I tried out the first two bosses and one fragile mini-boss.
So far it looks like this will be a good Metroidvania. A dash ability does appear to be intended but not gained this early and it doesn't look like there's parrying. You can pogo to get to places like in Hollow Knight. It does feel a good bit more fast-paced with movement that takes some getting used to.
