Movements for social change have always required us to deeply interrogate the systems that perpetuate and uphold violence, especially question how they show up in all of us. Only then, only with the commitment to uproot the way these systems show up in ourselves can we begin to advocate for change. As activists, artists and organizers, we can’t fight patriarchy and violence alone, so we have to be committed to one another in the effort to end patriarchy.
VOICES invites people all over the world who are committed to working through and changing and examining patriarchy in their lives to be engaged with this process. How have we all perpetuated and internalized it?
