Found still shrink-wrapped at a thrift store in Fredrickburg. From the back cover:
"To the accompanyment of screaming sea-gulls, splashing waves, and jingling engine-room bells, The Old Bay Liner CITY OF RICHMOND introduces this record with a salute off Old Point Comfort, Virginia. Her greeting is followed by an unusual and completely authentic anthology of ships' voices. All of these--even the blasts from Admiral David Glasgow Farragut's Civil War Flagship, USS HARTFORD--are genuine, not simulated.
The casual listener, as well as the steamboat buff, has the unique opportunity of reliving the excitement, the romance, and the nostalgia from The Golden Era of Chesapeake Bay Steamboating, an era which has now passed into the Annals of American Maritime History.
