I had completely lost my voice the night before my concert in Vancouver. I couldn’t even hear my own voice!
Fear took over me; fear of missing a show given all the efforts of my team; fear of disappointing my fans after a long wait.
The anxiety stayed with me all night long leading up to the morning of the concert.
A friend found a doctor who we thought could help me regain my voice.
I rushed to his office and said: “please help me, so that I don’t end up feeling embarrassed.”
That night, I went on stage with anxiety and a blocked voice.
I don’t know what happened, but once I felt the positive energy and support of my fans, I gave the best performance I could.
