The war is eating everything we know, people, buildings and even dreams of a better future than unstop sound of bombs falling over the city, skipping our heads by luck, drinks in my brain. It's draining me of sleep and the last drop of sanity I'm holding on to. I really lost several family members, some friends, my university, a tonne of favourite places and I'm counting. And I wish numbers never existed.
No time to mourn anyone or anything. Barely enough time to check on the survivors. Only a couple of days after evacuating our homes, everyone lost their main and alternative source of power. A couple of days later, we all had no water. A couple of days later, we lost the Internet connection. An ugly sense of detachment from the world. The people we love and the people we serve occupied her days. A couple of days later, the same team, the very same team that worked hard to make sure all affected people have food, had barely any access to food. Before the war, we reported that more than 1,000,000 Palestinians in Gaza were food insecure. Today we, our families and the around 2 million people in Gaza are food insecure. It's a shared pain with the people we love, with our own, with all Gazans. But I wish lack of food and water was all there is to worry about. with all Gazans.
