Ed Nash has been around audio his whole life — started out in radio when he was young, went on to work as a sound engineer, and now works as a voice actor. Safe to say, he knows what he’s listening for.
So when he says:
“I didn’t know you can do closed back headphones like this”
…it actually carries weight.
He first tried an early prototype back in 2025 and tells us he didn’t want to give it back. Now he’s got his hands on the final version of the Sennheiser HD 480 PRO, and it’s properly surprised him. The tuning feels dialled in, the cable setup is actually useful, and even the travel case is a nice touch. It all just works.
