Ok guys a few questions have been asked regarding the previous video in chain tension. So in this video I have covered the various methods of checking, the results are the same as the previous video on the top stand with the rear wheel causing tension on the upper part of the chain. The second method on the side stand with taking up the vertical slack and downward slack to tension the top part of the chain measured from a block below. The third method is measuring from the swing arm again on the side stand.
Results top stand upward check 40mm
Side stand from a block 30mm up plus 10mm down, the same result from the swing arm.
So all 3 methods 40mm.
Recommend tolerance 35 to 45 mm so dead centre
