In one of the worlds, a being is responsible to record all deaths. Right before the end of that world, heavy and grey mist envelops everything, swallowing all in haziness.
Like Death itself, every time he sees a living creature, it signifies its impending doom. He is the Herald of Death (告死天使).
The approaching end of the world also signifies that his duty and purpose will become meaningless soon.
