Hello! I'm going out on a little limb here and explore alternative possibilities for hooking up a dynamic microphone to a minimalistic electronic music setup. I avoided dedicated mic preamps much because they are typically big and bulky. Many cheaper preamps are not designed for dynamic microphones and often get noisy. Some specific mic foot pedals just sound awful (T1 I'm looking at you). And some dedicated mixers… well… they add a lot of bulk. So I'm exploring this alternative route to see if I can find a fun alternative compromise. And I think I did!
