VMware has a killer new storage solution that is found in the latest vSphere 8 and vSAN 8 release. The new storage architecture found in vSAN 8 known as the Express Storage Architecture is a great new storage solution that is even simpler for home lab use and can be enabled with a single drive in each cluster host. We take a look at the new architecture and then look at configuring the new vSAN ESA.
