The #HLF23 is now in full swing! We start this episode with a cake, made by HLF Alumna Jie Li and her friend Jianlin Huang, and we end at the Kulturbrauerei for the Bavarian evening. In between, we talk to another HLF Alumnus Demian Goos who has brought and exhibition from his fascinating intercultural science-art project and Ruth Wetzlar, Managing Director of the Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation. And we talk to Maryna Viazovska, who received the Fields Medal in 2022, about her work and what might be on the mathematical horizon!

The Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) is an annual networking conference where 200 carefully selected young researchers in mathematics and computer science spend a week interacting with the laureates of the most prestigious awards in their disciplines: the Abel Prize, ACM A.M. Turing Award, ACM Prize in Computing, Fields Medal, IMU Abacus Medal and Nevanlinna Prize.
