When will quantum computing change our lives? We ask Scott Aaronson in this, our last vlog from the 8th HLF. Ragni Piene tells about choosing Abel Prize winners, we talk to young researcher Narinder Sing Punn, and HLF alumna Constanza Rojas-Molina shows us her unexpected way of bringing the Forum to life!

This year young researchers are joining the #HLF21 from their homes around the world. Marianne Freiberger and Rachel Thomas, editors of www.plus.maths.org, will be their eyes and ears on the ground in Heidelberg in the daily HLF vlog.

The HLF is an international networking event where 200 outstanding young researchers of mathematics and computer science interact with recipients of the disciplines’ most prestigious awards.
