Dried citrus instructions: (at least, this is what I did)
1. Cut your citrus as thinly as possible (thicker pieces will take longer to dry out)
2. Dry the citrus slices as much as you can with paper towel
3. Line trays with baking paper
4. Lay citrus slices onto trays. Make sure the pieces are laying flat and arent overlapping.
5. Place trays in oven (temperature VERY low - otherwise they will burn. I had my oven at around 60 degrees Celsius).
6. Leave citrus in oven for 3-6 hours (I honestly ended up leaving them there longer. I just kept them in the oven until they were fully dried out). Try to turn the slices over every few hours so both sides are dried evenly.
(I just found all the info on google, so feel free to google it if you have any questions).
Smoothie recipe:
- frozen mango, pineapple & raspberries
- almond milk
- 1 scoop protein powder (I use Myprotein whey protein in the flavour vanilla raspberry)
- a bit of water so it blends easier
