This week marks the Start of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and with it the PBH free fringe. Every year The Wee Blue Book is published; a companion guide to the regular Fringe Guide which lists all of the free fringe shows that are associated with the PBH free Fringe.
During my first week I saw a few shows including First Actress, which told the story of the first female actor in Britain Margaret Hughes. Also seen was a play about ghosts in a couples prospective new home, and the Some Kind of Theatre production of Julius Caesar. It's hard to get me on board with any Shakespeare so it should be a compliment that I was a fan.
I even take time to roadtest a new beer: William Bros of Alloa have a seaweed ale called Kelpie. Anyone else tried it?
