Well week 3 came and went. I saw Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them at the premiere and IT. WAS. AWESOME. A must needed re-immersion into the wizarding world (especially after Harry Potter and the Cursed Child). Absolutely loved it. Have you seen it?! If not.. get up right now and go see it. I URGE YOU. You won't regret it.
This week was a rough NaNoWriMo week for me (but what week isn't?). I got sick at the end of the week (I am still sick right now). But I think I've finally broken through that first writing block. I started my novel with a lot of ideas and directions, and admittedly a lot of confusion. But I also started with little confidence in my writing abilities. And I think that literally just sitting down each day and forcing myself to write or to plot or to think things through has improved my self-esteem a lot and has created a new habit.
If anything, I am thankful for my miniscule word count this NaNo, and also my new found routine and writing process. It will grow and develop with time but it has planted a seed that will become a strong tree. Right now I am happy with what I have.
Alright well yet again this is taking FOREVER. And I am watching HP and the Sorcerer's Stone with my little niece so I'm gonna leave it at that.
