Chemical peels are a type of exfoliation procedure that combines a chemical solution with exfoliating agents to remove the damaged outer layers of skin and reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, age spots. In this video, I will show you my experience with chemical peel facial.
How often to you take a moment to do a little something for yourself? I admit as a mom and entrepreneur, my life choices revolve around making as few changes to things as possible. That includes my regular grooming routines, but today, I took a moment to treat myself to a little spa facial at D-Derm Asthetics in Burlington Ontario. Not only was it a relaxing and incredible treat for myself, it was super educating!
I learned so much! Like…
✓ Melsasma (dark spots on your face) can be triggered by hormones and heat (so it gets worse with sun exposure),
✓ IPL and laser treatments will make melsasma darker (so don’t just get laser without seeing a dermatologist)
✓ You need to wear sunscreen on your face even if your indoors 😱because the UV rays still damage your skin through a regular windows.
✓ Yes, you will peel after a facial peel but it’s not bad AT ALL.
And…D-Derm is having a special package experience to help you with all of this!
Check out D-Derm’s Facebook and Instagram pages so you never miss a special or a chance to learn more about your skin!
Thank you @ddermaesthetics 😊🙏🏼💕
