Grants Pass TV Repair | VIZIO VF550M Misdiagnosis and repair. @GrantsPassTVRepair | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 1 minute ago
http://www.tvrepairinfo.com/ Prior to working on this TVs power supply I thought all of its outputs would turn on as long as it got an enable signal from the main board. I didn't know the power supply would only turn on some of its outputs unless it had feedback from the inverter board before it allowed the 24 volt output to come on. I wasted a lot of time on this TV before I realized my bad inverter board was disabling part of my power supply output. Had I first checked my inverter board I could have saved much troubleshooting time. There was about 3.2 ohms from the fuse to chassis ground on my bad inverter board, and about 320 ohms on my good one. The name and model number of this TV is a Vizio VF550M, and the power supply number is 050005070610. The inverter board number on the one I replaced is 6632L0536A
