I've gotten back into speedrunning, an old hobby I had and got back into with the release of a game called VIVIDLOPE. A fun little puzzle action game where your goal is to fill a level with a certain amount of a color, think of those flip panel levels in Mario Galaxy, but an entire game built around the idea except very well fleshed out! I wanted to take a little bit of time to bring attention to a discovery made by another runner and how it affects the speedrun.

With the upcoming release of Star Fox (2026), Nintendo has put out a demo featuring the prologue, the tutorial as well as the Meteo level from the game. As someone who has done speedruns of various Star Fox games, Im of course very interested in the game and wanted to check it out ASAP. This video is just pure gameplay, no commentary with me going through from start of the demo to both endings for the demo. Let me know what you guys think of the demo!
