If we provide an annual opportunity to focus on whole-life discipleship, it can be an extremely powerful way to embed this kind of thinking in our church. Equally, there's also the potential to achieve almost nothing if it stays an isolated event with no follow-up through the year. If we take these opportunities at weekends away, leaders' away days, or special services to communicate the whole-life vision, and then respond to them by backing them up afterwards, the impact can be significant.
