I'm delighted to share some visuals I created for @mosaic_runes for
their EP 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭/𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘵, released on @weisskalt today 23 February on all streaming platforms - but expecially bandcamp - check it out. Mosaic Runes is the independent musical project of @shanemccarthy9. mosaicrrunes.bandcamp.com
This geometric audio-reactive video was created using ojack hydra, kdenlive and magic studio and was commissioned to convey symbols and language outside of speech.
The tracks on Signal/Prompt explore communication as the web which binds all human beings together. Music as communication with self and other. How one directs the vast expanse of consciousness through music gear, with intuitively orchestrated sounds emerging, as if from the ether. 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘭/𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘵 is a sonic exploration of how it feels and sounds to speak without speaking.
