It's dawn and you have dozens, maybe hundreds, of subs to integrate. But before you do, you like to give them a quick visual inspection for obvious errors, such as focus and guiding flaws or cloud obstruction. For a long time, the preferred tool for this was Blink, but it was only available to PixInsight users and selecting and culling subs with it is tedious. Fortunately, there is a more efficient option available free to everyone. Irfanview to the rescue! It reads and stretches FITS files just fine, and it allows you to ID and remove problem files with a single click.
