Initially, I was worried that I would only have limited footage of the kit fir the tuning video that I will be uploading here in the next week (for REALZ!!!), but now that I have a section that will include what a 70's vistalite sounds like in comparison, as well as what this style of tuning sounds like on a smaller kit (22", 13", 16"), I figured I'd make this video public in anticipation of the Vistalite Tuning Video that will be coming mid-December.
It will include:
- Tuning the Vistalites in the style of John Bonham
- A comparison of the old vistalites to the reissue kit.
- How to mod the reissue to be more like Bonham's kit.
- Tunebot and Drum Dial settings
- What this style of tuning sounds like on a smaller kit (als a vistalite)
- Little idiosyncrasies of Bonham's kit (like how they painted the three circles decal with the drum head upside down).
- And some more that I can't remember off the top of my head...
