🐀🚨 BACKYARD PAP ALERT 🚨
You all know Rachel White-tail Rat. She’s featured here numerous times and frankly, the girl is a weapon. 🐀💥
Teeth that cause destruction? ✔️
Wire? LOVE IT.
Car engines? Tasty.
Tin? No worries.
Ceiling? Don’t like the design, she will simply make herself a spy hole. 😂
But in Rachel’s defence, she called this backyard home first, she’s a native rat so the paps try to respect her property rights. ❤️. One of her favourite hangouts is the bush chook mound . You never know who’s going to turn up when you share your backyard with the wildlife A-list.
And this night , ENTER MR SHUFFLES. 🦔📸, short-beaked echidna. Rachel, naturally, was VERY interested in this strange new bloke wandering into her neighbourhood. But technically, neither of them owns the place! 😂
The mound belongs to the Orange-footed Scrubfowl, aka the Bush Chooks those mighty magnificent megopodes who spend their days building what is basically a giant compost heap and then everyone else uses it as the hottest venue in town.
Rachel was watching. Mr Shuffles was shuffling.
The Bush Chooks were probably wondering why their mound is a celebrity meet-and-greet.
