Today we start out the day with a hearty breakfast at the Denver location of the famous Voodoo Doughnuts. After devouring the delicious breakfast pastries, we head not too far away to visit the house that my mother lived in when she moved to Denver as a young adult. Then we drive west to visit the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater. Unfortunately we could see a show, but at least we got to enjoy the amazing view. After that we head to Avanti, a new eatery/bar in the LoHi neighborhood of Denver to grab some dinner, and then get dessert at the Taste of Colorado where we spend the rest of our evening, enjoying the live music and food.
