Join me as I explore one of Samoa's most spectacular natural attractions—the Alofaaga Blowholes on the beautiful island of Savai'i!
After arriving by ferry, I hired a taxi from the ferry terminal for the day. Along the way, we stopped at three different locations before continuing to my fale to check in. Having a taxi made it easy to explore at my own pace and see more of Savai'i without the hassle of waiting for public transport.
The highlight of the day was visiting the incredible Alofaaga Blowholes, where powerful waves force seawater through lava tubes, sending huge plumes of water high into the air. It's one of Samoa's most iconic sights and definitely worth experiencing in person.
To finish the day, I headed to Savaii Lagoon Resort for a traditional fiafia night, enjoying Samoan music, dancing, delicious local food, and warm island hospitality. It was the perfect way to end an unforgettable first day on Savai'i.
