Visit the Country on Korg Nts1 Stylophone Gen X-1 Grundig TK14
So I'm back on the jams again. Honestly, over the last few months I've been seriously struggling with motivation to be in the studio for some reason, but that seems to be passing and my inspiration seems to be coming back, fingers crossed. I've got plans for plenty more videos but I just couldn't summon the enthusiasm until now. Here's hoping I don't lose it all over again :)
So this was one of those unplanned jams where I just go in the studio, grab a few things and see what happens. After programming the old school sounding arpeggio on the Korg Nts1 it soon started turning into something like an old BBC Radiophonic documentary soundtrack. So the found recordings I have on 1/4" tape played on my Grundig TK14 and a bit of Dubreq Stylophone GenX1 seemed a good fit.
The chord sequence gets a bit rambling, not because I wanted it to but the 'keyboard' on the Nts1 is quite difficult to use, but I just went with it :)
Oh yeah, also I got a new phone so my old iPhone 5s is spare to shoot video on, so I'm not shooting in 1080p 30 as the rest of the world moves towards 4k. Go me.
