Years after a nuclear disaster, Sophie guides tourists through the irradiated exclusion zone around France’s Golfech nuclear plant. Through an unconventional, dystopian animation style, the film satirically explores disaster tourism, social media culture, and our growing fascination with witnessing catastrophe from a safe distance.
