In this video, I talk about visual perception. I first describe how light falls through the lens of the eye onto the retina, from where neural impulses travel toward the visual cortex where they are processed further. Next, I describe the different photoreceptors (light-sensitive cells) in our retina. Finally, I describe color vision, and how color opponency explains the color-adaptation after effect.

This is Video 3 of Section 3 (Perception) of the Biological Psychology video course.
