A very rare frame by frame project, I just had a burst of motivation and used it all on this. Might as well lore dump.

Ok so the crystal in Dynamo’s chest is actually a fragment of his soul from a past life, in the world of hell’s gate, angels and demons have a soul which acts as the right brain, it contributes to emotional stability and development, creativity, power/elemental control, and most importantly, memories. In his past life, Dynamo’s soul had a piece forcefully extracted from his body, this piece being the one that is memory based, so when he died and reincarnated, he lost all of his previous life’s memories, and when he got the soul shard back in his current life, Dynamo had all of the trauma his past self violently inflicted upon his mind, causing him to relive it all over again.
