The Greater Lynchburg Transit Company has about two weeks to find out whether it will receive funding it says it needs to maintain its current level of service.
At the center of the dispute is $800,000 that the city of Lynchburg included in its budget for GLTC operations but has not yet released.
GLTC General Manager Josh Moore said the transit company has repeatedly explained how it plans to use the money, but is still waiting for a commitment from the city.
