These are just SOME of the sights and sounds from the 2011 edition of the Virginia Derby, held on 16 July at the Colonial Downs Racetrack in New Kent County Virginia.
Here you see Penny Chenery and Leeanne Ladin, along with the funny hat competitors and the end of the race itself, won by Air Support with Alex O. Solis in the irons.
