The Philadelphia Orchestra turns 125 on Sunday, November 16! To celebrate, we asked musicians and staff to share some of their favorite Orchestra memories with us. Violist Renard Edwards remembers being moved to tears during a performance of Bach’s St. Matthew Passion with Maestro Ormandy. It was a cathartic moment for him, and a reminder of just how powerful music can be.
