Violet Evergarden is an beautiful show, but one whose slow pacing and mundane story has turned many off of it. However, I've found it to be an compelling series whose emotionally resonant themes and subtle characterization and world building makes it fun to watch (well, 'engaging' would probably be a more accurate word).
