I made this video out of boredom, showing various ways to handle bosses as Boris (my favorite character). Sorry for the horrible audio desynch. There's really nothing I can do about it.
Comments:
Dabel: Pretty straightforward. Note that with the exception of Dabel, throws do more damage than piledrivers to bosses.
Joe: Also easy. The only tricky part is when he's at low health and jumps around.
Drigger: Yes, I know constant jump kicks are lame, but so is Drigger. He is hands-down my least favorite boss in the game, and the end of this battle shows exactly why.
Doyle: The first video shows a simple exploit involving missed jump kicks (strategy courtesy of MargolPro). The second video shows a similar exploit, but with no jump kicks.
Mr. Julius: My favorite boss, and with good music to boot. The first video is just beating the crap out of him with the pipe. The second video doesn't use the weapon in the statue. Note that if you lure Mr. Julius over to the statue and he shows off, you get (essentially) a free combo on him (or better yet, grab him and throw him away from the statue so that you don't break it and you can lure him to it again).
Sledge: Grabbing is the way to go. There are plenty of openings after his attacks where you can grab him. Otherwise just combo and hope he blocks so you can grab him.
Red Fredy: Very annoying. He likes to dodge grabs a lot, and unfortunately grabs are the only sensible way to beat him with Boris.
Geld: Included him for the sake of completeness, but I just can't beat this guy on one life. I came very close on this try, though.
