Sixteen vinyl lovers, 30 minutes on the clock, and a $15 budget. Who can find the ultimate sonic treasure? We found out at the first "Crate Digger's Challenge," hosted by Music To My Ear and Northern Audio!
We sent competitors deep into our used vinyl bins on a quest to find the best-sounding record for under $15. The rules were simple: find a gem, buy it, and prepare for a head-to-head audio battle in a bracket-style tournament.
After the frantic search, our challengers, staff members, and even some spectators headed upstairs to the Northern Audio listening room. Each contestant had the chance to introduce their pick and play a track on a high-end sound system. The crowd then voted to crown the ultimate Crate Digger.
Watch the highlights and see the crowning of the sonic masterpiece that took home the grand prize! The winner, Dugan Hahn, not only got his Little Feat: "Time Loves A Hero" LP purchase refunded but also scored a $100 Music To My Ear gift card!
