Gave some duff information after all with that Lindsey Buckingham reference - it was Benmont Tench from Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers who wrote it (but never recorded it) about his relationship with Maria McKee.....curiously that song was written in response - and placed second on the album track listing - to the opening track on Feargal Sharkey's album called A Good Heart which was written by McKee about her relationship with Tench.
